Course Overview

This course aims to provide participants within an Organisation the opportunity to develop Prevention and Management skills when required. This course can be tailored to suit the needs of the Client and ranges from 1 day – 1.5 day – 2 day courses. PMVA can be applied in a wide set of industries, every course is designed to suit the needs of your Company or Organisation.

All courses are awarded a Summit Safety Training Services certificate at request and must be identified prior to training taking place.

What will I learn?

Participants will learn part theory of a course in how to respond to defensive behaviours and the latter part in physical techniques.

You can use this Training everyday, you are not just learning physical techniques you are being taught how to respond and de-escalate behaviours without having to use your hands. It gets to a point at which you must dynamically risk assess the situation and apply your training with justification, reasonability and actions must be proportionate.
